Asian Bar Association of Washington Presents “Getting Ahead and Giving Back: Diversity in Washington’s Legal Community”

 

We are excited to announce that Ty Ho of Ho & Associates was a guest speaker at the Asian Bar Association of Washington’s “Getting Ahead and Giving Back: Diversity in Washington’s Legal Community.”  The conference will be held on June 2, 2006 at Seattle University School of Law. 

 

This conference is the first conference hosted jointly by all the minority bar associations of Washington.  Topics to be presented range from the role of minority attorneys in the public sector, the challenges and benefits of starting a solo practice as a minority attorney, to a discussion on how the legal system uses labels.

 

Mr. Ho will speak about the effects of immigration law on our community, specifically the Vietnamese community.
